Solicitation BENNTSCDAN2003 is a Small Business Set-Aside Request for Quote issued by the MICC End User for the procurement of new industrial equipment. The requirement consists of one hydraulic powered box and pan capable sheet metal bending brake machine with an 80-inch bending length and specific capacity for mild and stainless steel, one powered back gauge with a 31-inch travel and programmable NC controller, and associated shipping freight. All equipment must be new, as used or remanufactured products are strictly prohibited. Delivery is specified as FOB Destination to Fort Benning, Georgia. The procurement process is conducted via a competitive reverse auction on the Unison Marketplace, where technical capability is weighted more heavily than price. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management and provide detailed specifications for the machinery. The award is on an all-or-nothing basis, meaning no multiple awards will be made. While currently an unfunded requirement, the agency expects funds to become available for the eventual award.
