FRSCSE Jacksonville, FL has a requirement for application of a sermetal coating to return to ready for use condition of various J52 engine parts, primarily stators. The proposed contract will be for one base and two option years. The coating must be consistent with the coating on the other engine parts and stators, as these parts can be intermingled within the same engine. The government does not have the technical data and specialized parts required to disseminate for competition, and the only known source of this specific coating is Sermatech International, therefore this procurement will be pursued as a sole source acquisition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. This procurement will be conducted under FAR 13.5 Commercial Item Test Program.
