The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Office, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract to procure ( 4) 35' aluminum personnel brows (Gangways) for use at Norfolk Naval Shipyard Portsmouth, Va. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332312, (Fabricated Structural Metal) and the procurement will be 100% set-aside for small business. The brows shall be fabricated in accordance with the Statement of work provided within the forthcoming solicitation. Contract line items are as follows: Clin 0001: Brow (Gangway), (4) EA The vendor shall procure materials, provide all labor, fabrication, and transportation required to manufacture and deliver 35' aluminum personnel brows. Brows shall be the 4' width type with single-wheeled non-pivoting casters. The estimated weight of each brow is 1140 pounds. The product shall be referred to as "35-ft brows" in this SOW.
