Full Description

The Government intends to award a sole source acquisition to Distributed Delivery Networks for the preventative maintenance and service of two Automated Pharmacy Machines (APM) in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Distributed Delivery Networks is the original manufacturer of the Rx-APM machines used at the 9th Medical Group and at the Base Exchange. The acquisition of preventative maintenance and service is necessary for the 9th Medical Group to satisfy 100% mission accomplishment while ensuring the life, safety, and health of its users. These machines are used to dispense medically prescribed medications to patients of the 9th Medical Group. The performance and accuracy of said machines is critical and must perform in accordance with the original manufactures specifications. Market research has identified Distributed Delivery Networks as the original manufacturer and only certified provider to perform preventative maintenance and service to original condition to meet original manufacturer's specifications. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333311 and the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3581. The small business size standard is 500 employees.
