Las Vegas Valley Water District invites qualified firms (Bidders) to submit Bids for the following Work, see Contract Documents for full details. The Site of the work is located at 309 S. Valley View Blvd. (Las Vegas Springs Preserve). In the Southwest corner of the property, east of Valley View Blvd. and approximately 750 feet north of Alta Dr. The work consists of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical installations for the equipping of a well as depicted in the Drawings and Specifications. The civil work includes, but is not limited to, site grading, placement of a aggregate base, the installation of a new decorative iron fence, access gates, a new concrete curb and gutter, and removal of existing landscaping. The structural work includes, but is not limited to, a new CMU wall section, pipe supports, a pump foundation pad, equipment pads, and replacement of an existing energy dissipater structure. The mechanical work includes, but is not limited to, the procurement and installation of well discharge and waste pipelines, valves, fittings, a tapping saddle at an existing water main, and appurtenances. The electrical work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of an Owner provided motor control center (MCC), Owner provided transformer, Owner provided control and communications cabinets, procurement and installation of conduit, pull boxes, power cabling, fiber optic cables, electrical termination to new equipment, and electrical terminations at Owner’s existing equipment. ** Please Note: There is a MANDATORY Prebid and Site Visit for this effort.** Please see activity tab for details
