The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, issued a Request for Information (RFI) to gather market data, pricing, and vendor capabilities related to the procurement of a Narrow Isle Single Reach Truck for the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. This RFI is strictly for planning and informational purposes and does not represent a solicitation or a binding contract. The government seeks a product that meets specific criteria, including an electric-powered Side Stance Reach Truck with deep reach forks, a narrow overall width suitable for tight warehouse aisles, a load capacity between 3,200 and 4,000 pounds, a lift height from 230 to 350 inches, and various safety and operational features. The brand name referenced is the Hyster Company model N35-40ZRS2, but equivalent products fulfilling these salient characteristics are also of interest. Interested vendors are invited to respond with detailed company information, including business size classification under NAICS code 333924, manufacturer or distributor status, federal contract holdings, product availability, pricing information, and evidence demonstrating that their proposed product meets the required specifications. Responses are intended to assist the government in acquisition planning and may inform a future solicitation, but responding to this RFI does not guarantee inclusion in any bidders list or receipt of a solicitation notice. All responses must be submitted via email by the specified deadline, and the government will maintain confidentiality of proprietary information as marked.
