PROJECT INFORMATION: The work consists of maintenance dredging approximately 2,314,000 cubic yards of unclassified material from Upper Charleston Harbor, TC Dock, MARAD Piers S, T, U, Charleston and Berkeley Counties, South Carolina shall be deposited in the Clouter Creek Disposal Area, Highway and South Cells. The work includes complying with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act and the Marine Mammals Protection Act. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00 THIS IS A 100 % TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. ALL RESPONSIBLE OFFERORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. The NAICS Code is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $20,000,000.00. NOTE: To be considered small for purposes of Government procurement, a firm must perform at least 40 percent of the volume dredged with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern. The Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of this solicitation.
