The purpose of this notice is to identify companies capable and qualified to provide a 3M Library Systems Service Agreement. Item Description 0001 3M Library Security Systems Service Agreement The contractor shall provide a one year Maintenance Service Agreement (Period of Performance 1 Oct 12 - 30 Sep 13) to include all labor, service parts and equipment modifications to hardware deemed necessary to maintain equipment in good working order and furnish over-the-phone software support and provide software configuration modifications deemed necessary to maintain software in good working order for the following 3M Library Security Systems at Shaw AFB, SC: a. Model No. 1360 (Detection System) / Serial ID: 06517 b. Model No. 3801DM (Detection System) / Serial ID: 38110103 c. Model No. 3802DM (Detection System) / Serial ID: 38210186 d. Model No. 942 (Book Check) / Serial ID: 9402331 All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to produce a course to the Primary Point of Contact listed below. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion.
