403A-27 Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR)

The Ohio Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for the one-time purchase of a new automatic Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) for asphalt binder testing. The equipment must meet AASHTO T 315 standards, featuring a torque range of 0.1 to 160 mNm, a temperature range of 0 degrees Celsius or better, and an air-cooled system that does not require liquid circulation. The preferred model is the Anton Paar SmartPave/MCR 73 or a substantially equivalent alternative.
