The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) has a requirement for fall protection equipment for our line crew personnel, including the brand names of Bashlin and Buckingham. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized for this requirement. This solicitation (Request for Quotes) is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 339113; Size Standard is 750 employees. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) to be eligible to receive an award from any Federal agency. By submission of a quote, the quoter acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. A DUNS number is required for SAM registration. Quotes should be submitted on the SF1449 attached to this solicitation and offerors should include the DUNS number on the form. Applicable terms and conditions are attached hereto and incorporated herein.
