Full Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm, fixed price supply contract to be negotiated on an unrestricted, full and open basis for fire fighting equipment in support of the U.S. Navy. The contractor shall provide a rescue package, a hose tester, a foam eductor, and 500 navy hoods in accordance with specifications that will be on the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted to NECO on or about 25 June 2010.Delivery date is anticipated to be approximately 14 days after receipt of contract. Bending Machine will be shipped FOB origin using NOLSC. Inspection and acceptance is FOB destination. The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12, 15 and 13.5. The solicitation will have a closing date of 07 July 2010. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price supply type contract. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under Business Opportunities under solicitation number N00406-10-T-1937. The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance.
