This is a pre-solicitation notice only. Solicitation W52H09-07-R-0578 will be issued as full and open competition for 11 each M20 Protective Entrance, NSN: 4240-01-283-0194, Part Number 5-19-9417 in support of various mobile shelters, specifically the S280 Shelter. The item is a pressurized portable chemical protective entrance unit. It is about 160 inches wide, 80 inches high, and 60 inches deep. This unit is made from Butyl cloth with an aluminum frame. It includes air ducts, covers, gasketin g, electronics, and other manufactured items. FOB is destination. The proposed contract will include three (3) 100 % options. Options are FOB destination. Esitmated issue date of the solicitation is October 17, 2007. This solicitation will be issued e lectronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/ aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parti es to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bi d or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to req uest same by submission of an email request to: contact@example.gov.
