42 -- VARIOUS FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

The solicitation for this procurement has been issued, on 13 December 2007, under solicitation number SPM8EG-08-R-0053 and is now available on the DIBBS website. It should be noted that the solicitation number was changed for this procurement from SPM8EG-07-R-0002 to SPM8EG-08-R-0053. The closing for solicitation SPM8EG-08-R-0053 is 14 January 2008 at 4 pm EST. Defense Supply Center Philadelphia is considering five Fire Extinguisher NSNs for a long-term contract with a two year base period and three 1 year options. Technical information and yearly estimated quantities for each NSN are listed below. This procurement will be unrestricted. This procurement will have Customer Direct Deliveries to locations throughout the Continental United States. The following deliveries will apply for each NSN: 1 each to 1,000 each Priority Group IPG I (Urgent) will be 5 days, IPG II will be 10 days, and IPG III will be 20 days. Delivery for Stock or Large order quantities of 1,001 each to 10, 000 each will be 30 days. Pricing will need to be given for each quantity range. Pricing will be submitted for each base year and each option year. Only FOB Destination pricing will be acceptable. The following items will be included on the proposed solicitation: NSN 4210-00-889-2491, EXTINGUISHER, FIRE, DRY CHEMICAL, 10 LBS, made in accordance to Commercial Item Description A-A-393A, has an annual estimated quantity of 30,000 each. NSN 4210-00-889-2492, EXTINGUISHER, FIRE, DRY CHEMICAL, 20 LBS, made in accordance to Commercial Item Description A-A-393A, has an annual estimated quantity of 11,000 each. NSN 4210-00-165-4703, EXTINGUISHER, FIRE, DRY CHEMICAL, 5 LBS, made in accordance to Commercial Item Description A-A-393A, has an annual estimated quantity of 12,000 each. NSN 4210-00-808-4544, EXTINGUISHER, FIRE, DRY CHEMICAL, 10 LBS, made in accordance to Commercial Item Description A-A-393A, has an annual estimated quantity of 13,000 each. NSN 4210-01-290-0755, EXTINGUISHER, FIRE, DRY CHEMICAL, 20 LBS, made in accordance to Commercial Item Description A-A-393A, has an annual estimated quantity of 300 each. Please note that the annual estimates and technical data may be revised at the time of the solicitation to provide the most accurate and up to date information possible. This procurement will have an Add/Delete clause. An Add/Delete clause will be included which may be used to add/delete extinguisher NSNs made in accordance to Commercial Item Description A-A-393A. The solicitation once issued, will be posted on the DIBBS, https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. All responsible sources will then be able to submit a proposal which shall be considered by DSCP. This solicitation will allow for multiple awards and evaluation will be based on each individual Fire Extinguisher NSN, independently of the proposals for other Fire Extinguishers.
