This firm fixed price contract, issued by the Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech, covers the manufacture or refurbishment of a compressor unit. The scope of work requires the contractor to inspect and refurbish the asset in accordance with specific technical data packages and SUBMEPP repair instructions. The contract includes a one-year warranty from the date of delivery and mandates that all preservation, packaging, and marking adhere to MIL-STD 2073 and referenced refurbishment instructions. A critical performance metric is the Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT), which is set at 365 days from the physical receipt of the asset to government acceptance. Failure to meet this RTAT will result in a price reduction per unit, implemented via a reconciliation modification. The US Navy is responsible for all transportation to and from the repair site, and the contractor is required to report all transactions through the Commercial Asset Visibility system and submit certification documentation via Wide Area Workflow.

Request for Information: Additive Manufacturing
Solicitation # N0010427RZ058
The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support is conducting market research through Request for Information N0010427RZ058 to identify qualified sources capable of designing, producing, and delivering piece part components or entire assemblies using additive manufacturing methods. The government is specifically interested in vendors who can meet rigorous manufacturing, material, performance, testing, and quality assurance requirements. While the current focus is on a candidate list of National Item Identification Numbers for valves, actuators, and manifolds, the government anticipates that Level I and SUBSAFE items may become eligible for additive manufacturing in the future. Interested businesses must provide detailed administrative data, descriptions of their manufacturing capabilities, facility certifications such as ISO 9001 or AS9100, and evidence of past performance with similar military or commercial hardware. Additionally, the government is soliciting industry feedback on the development of objective evaluation criteria and the structuring of performance-based incentives for future Firm-Fixed-Price contracts. All produced components must be fully interchangeable with traditionally manufactured equivalents and strictly adhere to the baselines established in Project Peculiar Document 802-8436658. Responses are due by October 22, 2026.
