The contract involves the acquisition and repair/modification of six centrifugal pump units, identified by NSN 7H-4320-013892627 and designated under TDP VER 006. These parts must be sourced or repaired exclusively from authorized suppliers as specified by current DoD standards, since adequate technical data or government rights are not available to allow alternative sources or second-source parts. The pumps are to be delivered to DLA Distribution in New Cumberland, PA. The contract clearly indicates the necessity of following strict source controls in accordance with DoD-STD-100, reflecting the sensitive nature of the items and the data rights limitations affecting procurement options. This is a total small business set-aside contract managed by the Department of Defense’s Navsup Weapon Systems Support Office in Mechanicsburg, PA, with an anticipated response deadline of mid-July 2026. The procurement will be conducted using a sole-source approach under FAR 6.302-1, though all interested parties are invited to express their capabilities or interest for consideration, recognizing that the government retains discretion over competition. The solicitation does not follow commercial acquisition policies but does include clauses related to Free Trade Agreements and WTO Government Procurement Agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable trade laws.
