43 -- Remove/dispose/provide/install air compressor

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-05-Q-U007 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2004-24. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 333912 and small business size standard 500 employees. (v) The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, personnel and labor to remove and dispose of an existing air compressor and provide and install a new air compressor at building 4707 at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). All interested parties must contact the contract administator listed below by no later than 19 Sep 05, 1300 PST to receive a copy of the Statement of Work and to be scheduled for a one time site visit to be determined at a later date. (vi) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (vii) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
