47--CA-MODOC NWR-WATER CONTROL STRUCTURE

This is a special notice provided for informational purposes only, prepared in accordance with FAR 5.2- Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition and Property Operations, Construction/A&E Operations located at 911 NE 11th Ave. Portland, OR 97232 has issued a single source solicitation in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) to Briggs Mfg Inc of Willows CA. The work includes the purchase of a number of concrete water control structures (WCS), corrugated PE pipe, and Waterman ClO screw gates to complete a number of priority infrastructure repair and habitat restoration projects for the MODAC National Wildlife Refuge in Alturas CA. The same brand of corrugated PE pipe has to be used as it is imperative that these structures and pipe mate with the pipe and structures on hand to be compatible with existing water control structure and pipe at the refuge. This notice is not a request for proposal/quote or invitation for bid. A solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the proposed services can provide supporting documents demonstrating capability for future reference. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this notice.
