The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound intends to solicit, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), to purchase EACH OF 4 SEACHESTS WITH A 16? NOMINAL DISCHARGE, 1.5? THICK X 61? LONG AND 4 SEACHESTS WITH A 16? NOMINAL DISCHARGE, 1.5? THICK X 71? LONG, ALL MANUFACTURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH PSNS DRAWING 120-8435334. FOB Destination to PSNS, Bremerton, WA. This requirement to be solicited using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation factors. The acquisition will be solicited anticipating award of a Firm, Fixed-Price Supply type contract. Numbered Note One applies – The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 17 AUGUST 2010 with a closing on 31 AUGUST 2010. Complete specifications to be included in the solicitation.
