AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE7M4-27-T-1923 is for the procurement of 113 units of a metal tube assembly (NSN 4710-01-069-5931) with a 1.000 inch outer diameter. A critical component of the assembly is a ball type check valve (P/N 12310899-2) which must be 2.4 inches long with a 1.62 hex across the flats, constructed from steel corrosion resisting type 302 or 304. The contractor is responsible for ensuring the valve meets all performance requirements on drawing 12310899, with the specific valve size left to the contractor's discretion. All components must adhere to Qualified Products List (QPL) or Qualified Manufacturers List (QML) specifications. The contract requires delivery to the DLA Distribution DDSP New Cumberland facility within 147 days after the order date, with shipping terms set as FOB Destination. Quality assurance is stringent, requiring inspection and acceptance at the origin and compliance with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001 standards. Packaging must follow MIL-STD-2073-1E and Special Packaging Instruction AK10695931, while marking must comply with MIL-STD-129. Security and regulatory compliance are paramount, as the contract mandates Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 and adherence to ITAR or EAR export controls. The prohibition of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals and hexavalent chromium is explicitly stated. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 332996, and all quotes must be submitted via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) by November 9, 2026.
