This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT to procure the following service: Full Cleaning Service and Maintenance on 100 Medical Mattress, TXCair Plus, 42" TXCair Plus and TXCair Plus overlay The period of performance is for 6 months from the effective date of the contract. Service and maintenance will by Joers LLC. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract (as prescribed in the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1) to Joers LLC, 19748 Dearborn St. Chatsworth, Ca. Joers LLC is the sole manufacturer of the mattresses and is the only contractor capable of providing the service without voiding the existing warranty. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 337910 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time, 12 December 2013. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the interested party is capable of meeting the requirement without voiding any warranties.
