PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FCI LA TUNA The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna, Anthony, Texas, intends to issue a solicitation for the requirements of the 4th quarter food items. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, the NAICS code for this requirement is 311999; the small business size standard for this Government procurement is 100 employees. Delivery dates will begin on July 1, 2016. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna, 8500 Doniphan Road, Anthony, Texas 79821. The contract type is firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offer(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, are considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered. Faith based and Community based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be available on or after May 16, 2016. This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Service's Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments and awards, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) unless payment is under 3,500, then it will be made using the Government Purchase Card. All offerors must be registered in SAM at http://www.sam.gov. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representation and certifications via the On Line Representation and Certification Applications at http://www/sam.gov.
