The contract calls for a fully integrated hybrid-cloud physical security camera system designed to provide high-resolution video with encrypted onboard and cloud storage, eliminating the need for traditional on-premises servers, NVRs, or DVRs. This unified platform must seamlessly integrate cameras, access control devices, environmental sensors, alarms, and guest management tools, all manageable through a single browser-based and mobile interface compatible with Windows, ChromeOS, macOS, iOS, and Android without requiring proprietary plugins. The system should feature automatic deployment of software and firmware updates to ensure ongoing cybersecurity, support rapid modular plug-and-play hardware onboarding, and implement robust Zero Trust cybersecurity measures including identity-based authentication, multi-factor authentication, strong encryption standards, role-based access control, and comprehensive audit logging. Compliance with a broad array of federal and industry standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI, FERPA, NDAA, TAA, UL, and FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments is mandatory. The platform must deliver advanced intelligent analytics including person and vehicle detection, facial and object search, crowd analytics, motion heatmaps, and environmental alerting, with the ability to filter video by specific attributes across multiple cameras and sites. Cameras are required to support up to 4K resolution, infrared night vision, image stabilization, and provide a minimum of 30 days of encrypted onboard storage with optional unlimited cloud archiving. The system should enable secure sharing of live and recorded footage, emergency access for authorized law enforcement, and real-time notifications for critical security events. The solution seeks to be scalable, cyber-secure, compliant, and capable of meeting the operational and regulatory demands of government security needs, specifically for the Department of Defense’s 50th Security Forces Squadron in Colorado Springs.

Full Description

This is a new requirement for a fully integrated hybrid-cloud physical security camera system that delivers high-resolution video, encrypted onboard and cloud storage, and advanced intelligent analytics without the use of traditional on-premises servers, NVRs, or DVRs. The system must operate as a unified platform in which all cameras, access control devices, environmental sensors, alarms, and guest management tools are natively integrated and managed through a single browser-based and mobile interface. It shall support secure access across Windows, ChromeOS, macOS, iOS, and Android without proprietary plugins, and must automatically deploy software and firmware updates to maintain cybersecurity posture without customer intervention. All devices must be rapidly deployable through modular plug-and-play onboarding, enabling new hardware to be added in minutes via QR code or serial number registration. The system must incorporate Zero Trust cybersecurity principles, including identity-based authentication, multi-factor authentication, TLS encryption, AES-128 or AES-256 encryption for data in transit and at rest, role-based access control, and comprehensive audit logging. Compliance with federal and industry standards—including SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI, FERPA, NDAA, TAA, UL, and support for FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments—is required. The solution must provide intelligent analytics such as person and vehicle detection, facial and object search, motion heatmaps, crowd detection, environmental alerting, and the ability to filter video by appearance, clothing color, vehicle type, or unique facial attributes across multiple cameras and sites. Cameras must support high-resolution imaging up to 4K, infrared night vision, image stabilization, and at least 30 days of encrypted onboard retention with optional unlimited cloud archiving. The system must also provide secure sharing of live or historical footage, emergency access for authorized law enforcement, and real-time notifications for critical events such as tampering, motion, environmental anomalies, or system health issues. Overall, the solution must be scalable, cyber-secure, compliant, and capable of delivering a unified, cloud-managed physical security ecosystem that meets the operational and regulatory needs of the government.
