The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) is seeking to award a contract for a Level 3 Database Administrator through the Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) program. This opportunity is limited to qualified TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who meet Tier 1 criteria within the National Capital Region and are categorized under Database Administrator Level 3. The contract is intended to support CNSC’s operations and projects, with the duration planned for approximately four years from the date of award. A single contract will be awarded following the submission and evaluation of proposals from invited suppliers, which include numerous established firms such as Accenture Inc., Deloitte Inc., and EXPERIS CANADA INC., among others. Security requirements for this contract include a minimum corporate level of Designated Organization Screening and a resource security clearance at the Secret level. While bidders do not need the required clearance to submit an offer, adherence to security protocols outlined in the Contract Security Program is mandatory. The procurement process allows for either official language submissions and includes options for bidder debriefings after the solicitation outcome. Communication and solicitation documentation distribution are managed solely by the CNSC Contracting Authority, who can be contacted via email for inquiries and submission instructions. The procurement aligns with applicable trade agreements and forms part of the federal government's broader informatics professional services framework.
