The U.S. Air Force, under the Department of Defense and through the FA5240 36 Cons Lgc office, is soliciting quotations for the procurement of one set of 506 EARS Towable Passenger Stairs under solicitation number FA524026Q0016. This is a total small business set-aside under FAR 19.5 with a NAICS code of 336413 and a size standard of 1,250 employees, reserved exclusively for small businesses. The requirement calls for a towable passenger stair system with specific salient characteristics including an operational height of 88" x 161", a 76" long by 50" wide platform, 48" wide nonslip treads, a swivel platform bumper adjustable ±5 degrees, hand pump-adjustable height, battery-powered LED lighting with an adjustable timer, and a platform capacity of 1,000 lbs. and full stairway capacity of 3,500 lbs.
