The contract establishes a Standing Price Quote (SPQ) not to exceed one year for three National Stock Numbers (NSNs) within the 5120 Federal Supply Class. These NSNs are part of the GSA’s Stock Program, with estimated annual quantities based on demand from the past three years. The SPQ period begins around July 17, 2006, and may last anywhere from one month up to one year, but not beyond that. All deliveries are to be made FOB destination within 30 days, with a minimum order requirement of $50. Specific contract clauses apply, including domestic manufacturing requirements for hand or measuring tools, bar coding, and source inspection. Award decisions will consider the best value to the government, factoring in price, delivery times, and vendor performance history. Notably, this SPQ serves as a precursor to a forthcoming two-year Requirements contract with three one-year renewal options for these NSNs. Interested parties were invited to submit offers by July 7, 2006, with Celeste Gorman designated as the primary contact for inquiries. Additional support is available from a Transportation Operations Specialist, Pam Waters. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 332212, which relates to hand tool manufacturing. This contract reflects a streamlined process for securing immediate supply needs while preparing for a more extended contractual arrangement in the near future.
