The New Jersey United States Property and Fiscal Office for intends to negotiate on a sole source basis and award a Firm Fix contract for Snap-On tools under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contractor shall provide the following: This notice of intent to award sole source. This announcement constitutes the only notice; proposals are not being requested. The corresponding NAICS code for this purchase is 332216. The basis for sole source determination: The New Jersey Army National Guard USPFO has a requirement to purchase tool kits and assorted replacement tools that are fully compatible with, and match, the existing tools and tool boxes. The existing tools were manufactured by Snap-On Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date of 08 Aug,2013. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. Written responses shall reference this Notice of Intent No. W912KN-13-T-0042 and may be submitted electronically no later than 1300 PM Est Standard Time on 08 Aug,2013 to the Procurement Specialist. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
