This document is a request for quotations issued by the United States General Services Administration (GSA) on February 26, 2002, for a specific hardware item: a tool roll made of flexible vinyl film designed to hold wrenches. The request outlines that the quotations submitted are not offers nor commitments from the government to pay for any costs related to preparing the quotes or to contract for goods or services. Suppliers are expected to quote prices with a delivery term of FOB Destination, valid for five months, and must provide details such as discounts, minimum and maximum orders, business size, taxpayer identification, and DUNS number. The government requests that if a vendor cannot submit a quote, they indicate this and return the form. The product specifications are detailed, describing a tool roll with 14 individual pockets of varying sizes made from high-quality, durable, and flexible vinyl materials that resist water, mildew, and fungus. The vinyl backing material and pockets must meet certain thickness standards and withstand specific strength tests. The roll must include a cloth tape or webbed strap with a buckle to secure the roll when closed. Dimensions and tolerances of pockets and overall size are precisely defined. The product must bear durable markings identifying the manufacturer in line with the material used, and packaging should follow standard commercial practices. Additionally, all packaging and marking must comply with applicable federal or military standards for delivery to civilian or military activities. No drawing accompanies this solicitation.
