52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds Availability of Funds (Apr 1984)Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. (End of Clause) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate a sole-source order with Marinel Electronics for the purchase of 11 Laser Ace 1000A distance measuring devices P/N# LA-1000-DMD-A to be used both indoor and outdoor for extended distance computations. MacDill AFB intends to issue a purchase order for delivery and installation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements due to Marinel is the sole supplier of this item. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Macdill AFB, FL. NAICS Code is 334511 and small business size standard is 750 employees.
