The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power plans to install an 8-inch fire water service ductile iron pipe within the Caltrans right-of-way at 5200 W. Imperial Highway in Los Angeles, CA. Project activities will involve open trench excavation up to approximately 3 feet in width and 5 feet in depth, followed by backfilling and street repaving to restore the roadway to existing conditions. Sidewalk work will consist of trench excavation, tunneling beneath the curb and gutter, and the installation of one (1) vault for the 8-inch fire service line.
