Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Order for OEM Hydraulic Fin Stabilizer Repair Services Aboard CGC Vincent Danz.
1. ANNOUNCEMENT
The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), announces its intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Quantum Marine Engineering, Inc. for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Fin stabilizer system repair services. This action is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
2. PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE
This notice serves to inform industry of the government's intent to award this requirement on a sole-source basis and to conduct market research to identify other sources that may be capable of satisfying this requirement. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ), and the government does not intend to issue a contract based on responses to this notice alone.
3. REQUIREMENT DETAILS & ATTACHMENTS
The USCG requires OEM Hydraulic fin stabilizer repair services as specified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Interested parties must demonstrate the ability to provide services that is fully equivalent in form, fit, and function to the specified OEM item.
