NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia intends to solicit a sole source procurement for 20 aircraft screws, part number SS5308V1-09 and NSN 1R-5305-016686437-H5. The government has identified Sikorsky as the only responsible source capable of satisfying the requirement, as the government does not own the necessary technical data or drawings to utilize other suppliers. The acquisition is expected to be awarded under the existing Basic Ordering Agreement N00383-26-G-P401, with delivery terms set as FOB Origin. The procurement will follow the procedures prescribed in FAR Part 15 and is not classified as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. While the government intends to negotiate exclusively with Sikorsky, interested parties may submit capability statements or quotations within 35 days of the synopsis to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted. All electronic procedures for this solicitation will be managed via NECO, and any manufacturer not previously approved must submit a Source Approval Request, though the procurement process will not be delayed for such approvals.
