The Mission Installation Contracting Command at Fort Dix, NJ intends to award a sole source contract to Hupp Aerospace Defense, 1690 Summit Street Suite B, New Haven, IN 46774 on the basis of the authority provided in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for the the purchase of preventive maintenance inspection kits used for the AH-64 Apache aircraft, HUPP Part numbers HAD211FTR and HAD213FTR with supplement kit HAD113FTR. Hupp Aerospace Defense is the only known source that has the prepackaged kits that provide all the components and hardware to perform the 250 and 500 Hour inspections on the AH-64 Apache Aircraft.
