NSNs 5340-01-456-9110; Part Numbers 12593041, The item to procure is Lever, Manual Control for use on the M119 Howitzer. The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under limited competition under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. THIS PROCUREMENT IS RESTRICTED TO THE SOURCE CONTROL PRODUCER, ORSCHELN PRODUCTS LLC. QUALIFICATION PROCEDURES ARE NOT AVAILABLE. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be a five year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with guaranteed minimum quantities of 300 each. The maximum allowed over the life of the contract is 1,500 each. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 15 Sep 08. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government, and at the present time there are no funds or resources to qualify another vendor. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
