This solicitation is for the repair of 20 units of NSN 5340 01-279-2058 (Mount, Resilient, Gen) under a high priority CASREP. The requirement is designated as a sole source procurement because the Navy does not possess the necessary technical data for the repair. Consequently, only sources approved by the In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) or those certified as a Depot Overhaul Point (DOP) will be considered. The government explicitly states that replacement, remanufactured, or new procurement acquisitions will not be accepted. The contract is a Firm Fixed Price agreement requiring Government-Source Inspection and Acceptance. Bidders must provide unit repair pricing, turnaround time, and throughput constraints, while ensuring quotes remain valid for eight months. All work must be performed according to contractor repair standards and original manufacturer specifications, with physical identification adhering to MIL-STD-130. This order is issued under Special Emergency Procurement Authority, and the small business set-aside has been dissolved due to the limited number of capable sources.

Request for Information: Additive Manufacturing
Solicitation # N0010427RZ058
The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support is conducting market research through Request for Information N0010427RZ058 to identify qualified sources capable of designing, producing, and delivering piece part components or entire assemblies using additive manufacturing methods. The government is specifically interested in vendors who can meet rigorous manufacturing, material, performance, testing, and quality assurance requirements. While the current focus is on a candidate list of National Item Identification Numbers for valves, actuators, and manifolds, the government anticipates that Level I and SUBSAFE items may become eligible for additive manufacturing in the future. Interested businesses must provide detailed administrative data, descriptions of their manufacturing capabilities, facility certifications such as ISO 9001 or AS9100, and evidence of past performance with similar military or commercial hardware. Additionally, the government is soliciting industry feedback on the development of objective evaluation criteria and the structuring of performance-based incentives for future Firm-Fixed-Price contracts. All produced components must be fully interchangeable with traditionally manufactured equivalents and strictly adhere to the baselines established in Project Peculiar Document 802-8436658. Responses are due by October 22, 2026.
