NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: This is a special notice of intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Beaver Aerospace and Defense, Inc., 11850 Mayfield, Livonia, MI 48150 CAGE Code 088K1 Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) has a requirement to purchase component parts for the repair of the Antenna Mast Group (AMG), to include the following: Locking Device, P/N J-16116-65. This item is used in the Recapitalalization (RECAP) of the PATRIOT Missile Launcher. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, quote mark Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements quote mark . The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP.) The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer Beaver Aerospace and Defense. This announcement constitutes the only notice by the government; a written solicitation will not be issued. All sources that believe they are eligible to provide these items must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide the items outlined above.
