The Department of Defense intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source contract to The Precision Alliance Company (TPA) for the purchase of stainless steel telescopic slides (PN 13657999) used on PATRIOT Radar Shelters. This procurement is essential for the Recapitalization of the Patriot Missile System and the upgrade of related demineralization and purification systems at the Letterkenny Army Depot. The award is justified under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), citing that only one responsible source can satisfy the agency’s requirements, partly due to the government lacking the technical data package for these items. This notice is the only communication regarding this procurement and not a solicitation for competitive quotes. Interested parties who believe they can fulfill the requirement must submit written responses demonstrating their capability with clear and convincing evidence, but no request for documentation alone will be accepted as an affirmative response. The deadline for responses is 15 days from the notice’s publication, after which the contract may be awarded without further consideration if no eligible competition emerges. All communications must be made via email to the designated contract specialist, with phone inquiries disallowed.
