Solicitation SPE4A622R0329 is a procurement action managed by the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, located in Richmond, Virginia, for the acquisition of bolt machine supplies. This action is being conducted as a sole-source or limited-competition acquisition under FAR Part 15 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The decision to limit competition follows market research, including the issuance of Sources Sought and Requests for Information, which yielded no interested vendors. The contract focuses on specific quantities of bolt machine components identified by National Stock Numbers and part numbers. The agency has provided justification for the limited sourcing rationale and has established that the pricing for these supplies is fair and reasonable. The procurement process was initiated in early 2022, with the official posting date recorded as June 15, 2022.
