The Department of Veterans Affairs, representing the Canandaigua VA Medical Center, intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to Preferred Solutions Group DBA Preferred Ergonomics for the procurement of Ergotron TRACE Dual Monitor Mounts and associated mounting accessories. This award is based on a thorough market analysis that identified the Ergotron TRACE model as the most suitable solution due to its unit weight, adjustability (vertical, horizontal, rotational), and capacity to accommodate 24-inch monitors. In addition to the monitor mounts, the contract includes thin client mounts, grommet clamp kits, and installation services. The procurement strictly prohibits gray market items, ensuring all products are sourced through original manufacturer distribution channels. This notice serves to fulfill public posting requirements and is not a solicitation for quotes, although the government will consider capability statements from any responsible source received by the specified deadline of August 8, 2022. The award decision remains at the discretion of the government, supported by FAR and VAAR regulations including provisions favoring verified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The point of contact for this procurement is Contracting Officer Lindsay Goldsmith, who is available to receive responses and provide further information.
