56--OTHER FUNCTION - IGF::OT::IGF 1889 CLUBHOUSE ROOF REPLACEMENT

The National Park Service, Historic Preservation Training Center, is soliciting proposals to provide all labor, materials and equipment to remove and dispose of existing asphalt roof to expose wood sheathing, install a Certain Teed (CT) SureStart Plus Roofing System with underlayment, ice and water shield, shingles and hip and ridge accessories and removal and reinstallation of the exiting gutter system for the 1889 Clubhouse. The Clubhouse is a historic structure located within Johnstown Flood National Memorial in St. Michael, Pennsylvania. The structure is a three story wood frame building originally built as a hotel for the South Fork Hunting and Fishing Club in the late 19th century. The building is approximately one mile from highway US 219, adjacent to the corner of Washington and Main Street. The estimated construction range for work associated with the Basic Requirement is between $25,000 and $100,000. A tentative date for a Pre-proposal Conference and Site Visit is scheduled for July 11, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the 1889 Clubhouse, 186 Main Street, Saint Michael, PA. Please confirm this date in the issued Solicitation package. Proposals will be evaluated by the Technical Evaluation Panel using the Evaluation Criteria and assigned weights identified in the Solicitation. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract on or before August 21, 2013. The Solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Website http://www.fedbizopps.gov . Offerors interested in doing business and receiving a copy of the Solicitation must register on the Fed Biz Opps (www.fedbizopps.gov). The Solicitation with specifications shall be posted on or about July 8, 2013. NO HARD COPIES OF THE PACKAGE WILL BE ISSUED.
