NOTICE OF INTENT: The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) proposes to negotiate and award a 5-year sole-source indefinite quantity-indefinite delivery contract, in the estimated amount of up to $2 million per year, to Barrett Communications (Barrett Communications PTY LTD; 19 Lenten Street; Alton, Hampshire, UK; GU34 1HG) to provide equipment, parts, service, and training for high-frequency communications. The award will be processed under exception 41 USC 253(c)(1)only one responsible source because of vendor's pre-existing communications infrastructure and foreign government training on, familiarity with, and current use of vendor's products. This contract will be used to support CBP's international programs only; intent is to restrict its use to Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
