NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Regional Office intends to award one (1) firm-fixed price purchase order to Frontier Precision, Inc. located in Boise, Idaho for Trimble surveying and mapping equipment. Reclamation requires additional land survey equipment that has multiple capabilities for surveying and mapping to complete surveys for boundary lines, construction, GPS, property lines, as well as hydrographic and topographic mapping. The new equipment must be customized and compatible with existing Trimble equipment, hardware and software used by Reclamation. Equipment required includes radios, GPS units to collect satellite data, tri-pods for placement of units, controllers, batteries and additional accessories to utilize and store survey equipment. Additional services included with equipment is the software maintenance, scanning modules to existing hardware, and perpetual license for software. Suppliers must be an authorized Geospatial distributor of Trimble branded survey equipment and must be located in the Boise area for quick repair and service of equipment. Delivery is anticipated to be 30 days after award. Vendors that have questions regarding the sole source nature of the requirement or vendors that believe they can fully provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and provide capability statements. Responses to this notice can be e-mailed to kollivant@usbr.gov, within ten (10) calendar days of this notice. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), only one (1) responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responses should include the vendor's Duns and Bradstreet (DUNS) Number and Tax Identification Number (TIN). The NAICS code for this effort is 334519. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE; QUOTATIONS ARE NOT BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Any information received will be treated as market research information for future same or similar requirements. The Contracting Office reserves the right to pursue the sole source negotiation or to compete the requirement based on information received. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice will not be accepted as this synopsis is not a request for quote or a request for proposal.
