Warner Robins Air Logistics Center is conducting Market Research to learn what is in the market place that may satisfy our requirements and what the customary terms and conditions of sale are. This is not a solicitation; no award will be made from announcement. In brief we are seeking information as to the commercial availability of modern, high-tech horn type antenna systems that may be a suitable replacement for the horn antenna presently used with the AN/TRC-170 Tactical Digital Troposcatter System. This Market Research announcement is a revision and restatement of our original announcement posted on 29 July 2002. Our System Requirement are as follows: General Requirements: Antenna systems will have to be built and delivered as a set of two (2) matched antennas. The antennas will be used in a quick reaction setting, they should be relatively small, lightweight, and easy to install. Power handling: Each antenna must support a maximum of 2 kilowatt output. Gain: Minimum 20dB required. Frequency Range: 4.4 to 5.0 Ghz. Polarization modes: Vertical/Horizontal (V/H) polarization used for transmit and receive frequencies. Full V/H polarization is required. V-H isolation: V/H have to be isolated. Must support horizontal and vertical polarization. Mechanical constraints: The antennas must be easily transportable, so should come in a transit box. Waveguide: 100 ft of flexible waveguide, and corresponding set of guy lines/hangers. RF Cabling: 100 feet of RF cable. Masts: Masts should be a minimum 50 ft, 2 ea per system. Masts must be collapsible for transportation and storage. The mast must be able to stay stabilized in winds up to 75 knots. Quantity: Approximately 200 sets. Transportation Containers: Transit containers must be provided for all the equipment, including the antennas. These containers must be reusable, easy to transport, and offer excellent protection to the antennas and other equipment. What method of commercial packaging and preservation would you use for this type of equipment? Contract Financing: What payment terms do you request of your commercial customers for comparable dollar value contracts? Customary Commercial Contract Terms and Conditions: Please include in your response a sample of your Customary Commercial Contract Terms and Conditions.
