The 162nd Fighter Wing AZANG intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source purchase to Tower Solutions, LLC for Ground Data Terminal (GDT) towers. Market research was conducted via the internet and the General Services Administration (GSA) Advantage website with multiple vendors found that listed similar tower solutions. The similar products that were found were reviewed by our customers. Tower Solutions was the only manufacturer to meet and exceed the minimum requirements needed to conduct Over-the-Air-Testing and Certifications. Tower Solutions LLC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and is the only manufacturer that produces the PT-100-80 Portable Tower. The unique features and capabilities of this particular unit is what single it out from the other units that are commercially available. These features and capabilities include, but are not limited to: - It is self-contained; no other transportation equipment is required to mobilize. - It has the most compact storage foot print of all other units available given the limited storage area at the LRE. - Easily fits in military aircraft for deployments. - It has an 80ft plus working height. - It has a unique Communications on Wheels (COWs) technology. - It can support multiple missions. - It is easy to tow compared to the competition. - Training is not required due to prior experience with this unit. - Quickly deploys at the push of a button. - The rate of speed for raising and lowering is the fastest available. - See the attached Limited Source Justification and Determination & Findings This notice is for informational purposes only; no formal solicitation will be issued as a result of this announcement.
