NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO RESEARCH ELECTRONICS INTERNATIONAL LLC FOR THE ACQUISITION OF TWO (2) OSCOR BLUE SPECTRUM ANALYZERS This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to Research Electronics International LLC. The United States Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Research Electronics International, LLC (REI), Cookeville, TN, for the acquisition of two (2) OSCOR Blue Spectrum Analyzers. REI is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the OSCOR Blue Spectrum Analyzer. The supplies required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1). Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes to contact@example.gov no later than three calendar days after release of this synopsis. DURATION: Delivery to be made no later than eight (8) weeks after contract award, but no later than 31 May 2010. All quotations received within three (3) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. For specific questions, please contact Shawn M.
