DLA Aviation is conducting market research through a combined Request for Information and Synopsis for the procurement of two F-16 Electronic Switches, part number 2216905-008. The primary objective is to identify capable sources and determine the availability of commercial or non-developmental items that meet agency requirements. The estimated delivery schedule is 12 months after receipt of order, and the requirement is not expected to be set aside for small businesses. Due to limited data ownership and the impracticality of reverse engineering, the government indicates that these supplies are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources. Interested parties, including small businesses seeking subcontracting opportunities, are encouraged to contact BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Inc. Foreign participation is prohibited at the prime contractor level, and all submissions must be in English and priced in U.S. dollars.
