The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Yuma Proving Ground intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract on a sole source basis to Precision Filters Inc. for the procurement of specialized Quad Bridge Conditioners and associated modules. This contract involves five units of the Quad Bridge Conditioner (part number 28104-A-BE6-6), along with options for five Bridge Completion Modules (BC1/124) and five Bridge Resistor Modules (BR1/124-350-10762). These components are essential to replace or complement existing signal conditioning cards within the Integrated Ballistic Data System (IBDS). The items must be physically identical to existing cards to ensure compatibility with current hardware and software configurations, as the Army owns over 160 signal conditioning cards across 32 racks. Since Precision Filters Inc. is the sole producer of these parts, the contract will not be competed. Interested firms were invited to demonstrate their technical capabilities by a specified deadline to assist the Government in evaluating the potential for competition, though the decision to compete remains at the Government’s discretion. The contract falls under NAICS code 334419, which pertains to electronic component manufacturing, and emphasizes the protection of proprietary information. All inquiries and responses were to be submitted following the solicitation guidelines without releasing sensitive details, ensuring the Government maintains the integrity and confidentiality of the procurement process.
