Solicitation FA8217-07-Q-76431 is an award notice for the procurement of five electrostatic sensitive circuit card assemblies, part number 7253154G1, intended for FMS countries and the AN/FPS-117V Peace Shield system. The contract also requires the delivery of one first article test report. The anticipated award was set for June 18, 2007, with a final delivery deadline of February 28, 2009. The contract is directed to Lockheed Martin Corporation in Liverpool, New York. Due to the specialized nature of the components, the parts require engineering source approval to ensure quality and maintain design integrity. Because the approved sources retain essential data rights and manufacturing knowledge not economically available to the government, any alternate sources must undergo a rigorous qualification process approved by the government engineering activity in accordance with FAR 9.202(A) and FAR 52.209-1.
