Full Description

This is a notice that the Government intends to award a contract to PIVC, L.L.C., 3405 Triana Blvd, Huntsville, AL 35805 to purchase seven Free Net Participant Model IU210 to upgrade the Advance Range Data System (ARDS) Data Link Ground System (DLGS) via a Free Wave Network (FreeNet) based Ground System network. The IU210 is the participant segement transceiver/GPS unit for the Free Wave based FreeNet Sytem. Due to the proprietary nature of the embedded firmware and hardware, the supplies required to upgrade the system are only available from PIVC, L.L.C., and is the only known source that can meet our requirement. Other than full and open competition will be used under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies o r Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement.
