ELEC TUBE
Solicitation # N0010426QXC00
Solicitation N0010426QXC00 is a commercial, firm-fixed-price request for the manufacture and delivery of 361 units of ELEC TUBE (NIIN 013771907) for the Department of the Navy, specifically Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech. The contract requires strict adherence to design specifications represented by Cage Codes 59475, 99313, and 49956. Delivery is required within 120 days, FOB Destination, with marking and packaging governed by MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-2073. A critical requirement is that the material must be mercury-free to prevent corrosion and toxicity risks on submarines and surface ships, with any deviation requiring written approval from the Procurement Contracting Officer. The government will evaluate offers based on past performance, supplier performance risk, and the ability to meet minimum qualifications. Offerors who are not the original equipment manufacturer must provide proof of authorized distributorship. Quality assurance is primarily the contractor's responsibility, though the government reserves the right to perform inspections. Administrative requirements include registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the use of Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) for invoicing. The contract also incorporates standard federal and defense clauses regarding cybersecurity reporting, hazardous materials identification, and the combating of trafficking in persons.

AI Contract Overview

This contract involves the repair and modification of a 1KW power amplifier, specifically the 59--POWER AMPLIFIER 1KW, with the solicitation number N0010423QQD41. The procurement is managed by the Naval Surface Warfare Systems Support in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, under the Department of Defense, with a focus on the NAICS code 334419, which pertains to electronic component manufacturing. The scope of work includes the repair of six units of the specified power amplifier, with recent amendments adjusting quantities from 9 to 7 units and increasing from 6 to 12 units at different points, with the latest close date set for September 29, 2023. The contract emphasizes strict technical and quality standards, including government inspection, adherence to military specifications, and proper marking and packaging procedures. Due to the specialized nature of the repair, only approved sources certified as depot overhaul points can perform the work, and the government does not possess the technical data for repairs, making this a sole-source procurement. Offerors are required to submit detailed repair quotes, including pricing, turnaround times, and throughput capacity, with a proposal validity of eight months. The response deadline is March 17, 2025, and all communications should be directed to Heather Van Hoy via email or phone.
