The Broadcasting Board of Governors/International Broadcasting Bureau (BBG/IBB), Office of Contracts, Simplified Acquisitions Branch (M/CON/SA) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source Purchase Order on a non-competitive basis with Transcool Systems LTD, Transmitter System Engineers located at Unit 30, Eldon Way, Lineside Industrial Est., LittleHampton, West Sussex, BN17 7HE, United Kingdom. The NAICS Code is 332410. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition that is applicable to this procurement is FAR Subpart 6.302-1 41 U.S.C. 253 (1), Only one source and no other supplies or services would satisfy the Agency requirement. Transcool System LTD is the original supplier of the heat exchanger that is being manufactured for replacement of the heat exchange coil used in the Marconi B6132 cooling system and air handling coil used in the Marconi B6128 transmitter cooling system at the Sri Lanka Transmitting Station. Oral submission of interest and capabilities will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order (contract) based upon responses to this Notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
